The Heritage Crafts Association is the advocacy body for traditional heritage crafts. Working in partnership with Government and key agencies, it provides a focus for craftspeople, groups, societies and guilds, as well as individuals who care about the loss of traditional crafts skills, and works towards a healthy and sustainable framework for the future.
With support from Northumberland National Park it is our mission to support and promote wool related crafts and artisans in the North East. Also to continue to build the project archive, recording the rich heritage of wool related industries and shepherding in Northumberland and the Borders. There is a number of future events organised - so do take a look.
I am a member of this local Tourism Association that supports Tourism related businesses in North Northumberland. If you are thinking of coming to one of my workshops you can find a nice place to stay nearby by looking on their site.
If you mention that you are coming to one of our workshops and staying with them because we are a member you might even get a discount.
